Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how CAPMA LLC (d/b/a FYXD) (“FYXD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. Overview

FYXD is a marketplace connecting customers with independent service providers.

By using FYXD, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide

We collect information you voluntarily provide, including:

• Name, email address, and phone number
• Profile and account details
• Job requests and descriptions
• Photos, videos, and related content
• Messages between users
• Reviews and ratings
• Provider business and licensing information
• License documents, insurance certificates, and other credential materials submitted by Providers
• General location information you provide, such as service ZIP code or city (we do not collect precise device GPS location without your separate permission)

B. Automatically Collected Information

We may collect:

• IP address
• Device and browser type
• Usage data and interaction logs
• Session and authentication data

C. Payment Information

Payments are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe.

FYXD does not store full payment card information.

D. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our third-party service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Platform. These may include:

• Essential cookies: Required for authentication, session management, and Platform security.
• Analytics: Tools such as analytics services that help us understand how the Platform is used. These may collect IP address, browser type, pages visited, and interaction data.
• Payment processing: Stripe may set cookies or scripts necessary to process payments securely.
• Fraud and security: Technologies used to detect and prevent fraudulent activity.

We do not use tracking technologies for behavioral advertising or sell data to advertising networks.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Platform functionality, including authentication and payment features.

E. Account Sign-In

You can create an account or sign in with an email address and password, with Google, or with Apple. Sign-in is handled through our authentication provider.

• Google: we receive the name, email address, and profile picture your Google account shares.
• Sign in with Apple: Apple shares the name you choose to share (only the first time you sign in) and an email address. That address is either your real email address or, if you choose Apple’s “Hide My Email”, a private relay address ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com that Apple forwards to you. We send account emails to whichever address Apple provides. We also receive a unique identifier for your Apple ID. When you sign in with Apple in our iPhone or iPad app, we may receive an Apple-issued token, which we store encrypted and use only to disconnect FYXD from your Apple ID if you delete your account.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide and maintain the Platform
• Match Customers with Providers
• Facilitate communication
• Process transactions
• Send service-related communications
• Improve functionality and user experience
• Detect fraud and enforce policies

We do not sell personal data.

4. Sharing of Information

A. Between Users

Information may be shared between Customers and Providers as necessary to facilitate services.

When a Provider views a job you have posted, we may show them aggregate, computed activity statistics about your use of the Platform — for example, how many jobs you have posted, how often you hire a Provider, and how quickly you typically reply. These are objective, automatically-calculated summaries; they are not reviews or ratings written by Providers, they are shown only to Providers you are already in contact with through a job, and Providers cannot search for or browse Customers.

B. Service Providers

We may share information with third parties that assist in operating the Platform, including payment processors, hosting providers, communication services, and authentication providers (our sign-in provider, and Apple or Google when you choose to sign in with them).

C. Legal Requirements

We may disclose information to comply with legal obligations or protect rights and safety.

5. Data Retention

We retain information:

• While your account is active
• As needed to provide services
• As required by law

You can delete your account in the FYXD app (Account → Delete account) or at fyxd.app/delete-account. Deletion takes effect 30 days after your request; until then you can sign in and cancel.

If your account used Sign in with Apple, when the deletion takes effect we ask Apple to revoke FYXD’s access to your Apple ID where we are able to, and our account-deletion email tells you how to remove FYXD yourself. You can also remove FYXD at any time in your Apple ID settings under “Sign in with Apple”.

Upon account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within ninety (90) days, except where retention is required by applicable law, regulation, or legitimate business purpose. Transaction records, payment records, dispute records, and other data needed for tax, legal, or compliance purposes may be retained for up to seven (7) years or as otherwise required by law.

Receipts and expense records you enter are treated as financial records and are retained under the transaction/financial-records provision above (up to seven (7) years), even after the associated job is completed or cancelled.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable safeguards to protect your data.

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your Rights

You may request to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccuracies in your personal data
• Delete your account and associated personal data
• Receive a copy of your personal data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, email support@fyxd.app with your name, account email, and a description of your request. We will respond within thirty (30) days. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request. Some requests may be subject to legal limitations — for example, we may retain transaction records as required by law even after an account deletion request.

You can also delete your account directly in the FYXD app (Account → Delete account) or at fyxd.app/delete-account, without emailing us.

8. Children’s Privacy

FYXD is not intended for users under 18.

9. Third-Party Services

FYXD is not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time.

11. California Residents

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) may provide you with additional rights regarding your personal information.

Categories of personal information we collect include identifiers (name, email, phone), commercial information (transaction and payment records), Internet or electronic network activity (usage and log data), and professional or employment-related information (Provider license and credential data).

We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.

Your California rights include the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; the right to delete personal information (subject to certain exceptions); the right to correct inaccurate personal information; the right to opt out of sale or sharing (not applicable as we do not sell or share); and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.
